A scenic view of the sandy beach of Lake Sapso and the hills of Vuokatti open up before youre eyes from the hotel rooms and our restaurant. Sotkamo centre is just next to the Hotel.

Hotel Tulikettu is a family-owned hotel with a traditional, homelike atmosphereand comfortable rooms, located in the center of Sotkamo municipality, North-Eastern Finland, province of Kainuu. Tulikettu stands at the top ofa forested ridge, close to sandy Hiukka beaches and clean waters of Lake Sapso. Small shops and other services of Sotkamo municipal center are just a few hundred meters walk away from the hotel.

Hotel Tulikettu is surrounded by idyllic nature and it is a perfect venuefor different types of events. During summer hotelguests can exercise, play golf, go hiking or fishing, or just relax on Hiukka beach. There are activities also for more adventurous guests such as downhill motoring or cycling. Indoor skiing and snowboarding tunnels offer snowy activities also during the summer season. Vuokatti also has a large spa and many indoor activity centers (e.g. a large indoor fun park for children) that are open around the year.
